We host dedicated astrophotography-based tours focusing on dark sky locations and astronomical events such as meteor showers and eclipses alongside working with the Milky Way, nebula, constellations, and the Northern Lights.
We also strive to create excellent combination workshops providing both daytime landscape and nightscape opportunities with landscape photography tuition also provided by our tutors.
Our aim has always been to create unique workshops, many situated at far lessor known, off-the-beaten-path locations. Naturally, we still offer some classic landscape haunts, often adding a nightscape element and we are constantly researching and scouting new less familiar areas at popular landscape photography destinations.
Our team are highly skilled and experienced photographically, as team leaders and in tour operation logistics.

One of, if not the first landscape astrophotographer to create a high ranking platform that provided an extensive portfolio of landscape astrophotography-oriented workshops operational over multiple locations and countries.
Believing nightscape photography could be a means of taking his then part-time landscape photography business to a new level in 2010, he set about laying the foundations to leave his role in the realm of architecture and pursue a career as a landscape night owl, also known as a landscape astrophotographer.
In 2013 He quit the 9-5 and has since been freelancing and leading his own independent tours.

Although Elly studied film & music, her role moves away from being behind the lens. She’s lived in both New Zealand and Canada alongside the UK, and has a background in operations management, finance and leisure & tourism. For several years she worked as a shoreside purser for superyachts and with this unique experience Elly is often behind the scenes working on the logistical side of the workshops.
She also works as a support-assistant on several of the tours. She speaks basic Spanish, is a competent driver on rough terrain, and is a confident leader with large groups. She also has a talent at being able to source and devour multiple chewy sweets.

As a relative latecomer to the world of photography, Chris’s eyes were initially opened to the captivating world of photography whilst honeymooning in Japan, before later stumbling into landscape photography in 2012 – a genre he instantly fell in love with, appreciating not only its beauty, drama, and variety but the many challenges it presents. His initial passion for capturing wild and rugged seascapes was driven from a lifetime living just a stone’s throw from Dorset’s stunning Jurassic coastline but over recent years, this yearning for raging storm seas has been contrasted and balanced by the quiet calling of Dorset’s hidden woodlands.
Chris specialises in atmospheric images of the South West’s ever-changing coastline and intimate treescape scenes of mother nature at her finest, combining floral displays, spectacular conditions and grand woodlands, His unique imagery was recognised in 2020, winning the UK Landscape Photographer of the Year award and placing runner-up in the Wildflowers category of the International Garden Photographer of the Year.
Simon Waldram is a distinguished astro photographer, celebrated for his ability to capture the majesty of the night sky. With over two decades of experience, Simon has lived and worked in two of the world’s most extraordinary locations—spending 16 years in the Canary Islands before relocating to Iceland.
During his time in the Canary Islands, Simon established himself as a leading figure in astrophotography, running highly acclaimed workshops that showcased the islands’ unparalleled dark skies and dramatic volcanic landscapes. Later, in Iceland, a country where his daughter was born, Simon continued his craft, offering workshops that emphasized the striking beauty of its glacial vistas and the ethereal aurora borealis. His intimate knowledge of both regions has made him an expert guide, knowing the most photogenic locations and ideal conditions in both countries like the back of his hand.
Simon’s work has received international recognition, including being shortlisted for the prestigious Astronomy Photographer of the Year award. Additionally, his expertise has been sought by the BBC’s Sky at Night, where he collaborated to bring the wonders of the cosmos to a global audience.
