I'm a long-term client of Ollie's and that I keep going back speaks volumes. Ollie's workshops and tours are a cut-above the rest, for sure. He knows his stuff, his locations and is only too keen to do all that he can to ensure that his clients get the best out of their time with him. On a recent trip to Iceland with him (December 2022), he completely rearranged the itinerary on the fly, hunting out the best weather. For astrophotography or, in this case, Aurora, that's clear skies predominantly. Most, if not all, other photographers set their itinerary, book their accommodation well in advance and will stick with it come hell or high water (or, in the case of Iceland, blizzards and meters of snow). That sets Ollie apart. I will certainly use Ollie again; Iceland once more in December 2023 and Madeira in June 2024 are already booked. In short ... Ollie is a good guy. Give him a try ... you won't regret it.

I've recently come back from one of Ollie Taylor's Astrophotography trips to La Palma which was so good I immediately booked on next years trip. Having been on several of his workshops over the years, the one thing in common with all of them is that he puts 100% into ensuring that everyone gets the best out of it whether you're a beginner or more experienced and despite the vagaries of the weather (a perennial nightmare for astrophotography). I can thoroughly recommend his workshops and guided trips, you certainly won't be disappointed by his professional approach and of course his skills as a superb landscape and astro-photographer, skills he happily shares with you to improve your own efforts.

Recently attended the La Palma course with Ollie and would highly recommend this to anyone with a love for Astrophotography. Ollie’s knowledge of the area and what would be visible where, meant every trip out we came back with a variety of images and no location was a dud. He also helped massively with planning your own trips and gave a great guide on PhotoPills. Ollie also assisted me greatly with the technical side as I’ve never imaged the Milky Way with a DSLR, yet I came away feeling like a pro! After this and his post-processing guide I now have pictures I’d be happy to hang on my walls!
