I'm a long-term client of Ollie's and that I keep going back speaks volumes. Ollie's workshops and tours are a cut-above the rest, for sure. He knows his stuff, his locations and is only too keen to do all that he can to ensure that his clients get the best out of their time with him. On a recent trip to Iceland with him (December 2022), he completely rearranged the itinerary on the fly, hunting out the best weather. For astrophotography or, in this case, Aurora, that's clear skies predominantly. Most, if not all, other photographers set their itinerary, book their accommodation well in advance and will stick with it come hell or high water (or, in the case of Iceland, blizzards and meters of snow). That sets Ollie apart. I will certainly use Ollie again; Iceland once more in December 2023 and Madeira in June 2024 are already booked. In short ... Ollie is a good guy. Give him a try ... you won't regret it.recommendsTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Facebook.
In short, I wholeheartedly recommend Ollie’s workshops. Not only is he a great photographer but also a great travel companion, who will go at great lengths to ensure you have a truly unforgettable experience. My photo trip in Iceland with him was by far the best one I’ve ever had.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
I have been on a few of Ollie's workshops (Iceland and Slovenia) as well as a one 2 one. His tution is superb as well as the amount of effort he puts into to make sure it is a success for everyone taking part and not only that he also explains a bit about post production.
