My first photo workshop was done in a very spontaneous way when I was looking to improve my skills in landscape photography and especially astrophotography. So I joined Ollie's Dolomites workshop at the last minute and I really don't regret it. So it was only natural that I chose him for a second workshop in La Palma and I'm sure it won't be the last one... He gives his all to satisfy you despite sometimes hazards beyond his control, regardless of your physical level or photography. Thank you very much Ollie for all these moments and memories and see you soon for a next workshop under the stars...Posted on Google![]()

My first trip with Ollie to Chile and Bolivia was amazing. We visited so many unique locations and most of the time we had the locations to ourselves. From the crystal clear night skies in Chile to the amazing landscapes in Bolivia, Ollie went above and beyond to help us get the shots we wanted. I just finished another trip to Slovenia with Ollie and had a great time. Ollie always spends the time to get us to the best locations for the conditions and I appreciate the effort and time that goes into this, particularly when the weather doesn’t play nice. Thanks Ollie & Elly for another fun experience.Posted on Google![]()

I have been a passionate photographer for many years, having studied and continuing it as a hobby. As a keen member of my local photography club I explore all genres. When I first had a desire to learn Astrophotography, having always been interested but intimidated by my lack of knowledge in what seemed a very complex genre, I searched on the internet and found Ollie’s site, originally signing up for a workshop in the Dolomites. It was the first workshop I have attended and was unsure of what to expect, but Ollie was quick and helpful to answer any questions or quieries I had about the trip. The group of around 4 photographers were kept informed in the lead up and all introduced. I can’t say anything but positive remarks when it comes to the workshop, knowledge imparted and passion I have come away with. The others on the workshop were wonderful companions and Ollie’s knowledge, guidance, experience and teaching style were perfect. The accommodation was great and itinerary tailored to the weather was ideal. I came away not only with an amazing experience, memories, photographs and knowledge on the subject which furthered my photography and allowed me to now go out and feel confident on my own, but a deep routed passion in landscape and Astrophotography, and astronomy. Since doing this I have joined him to Iceland, and have booked onto the Tenerife 2020 workshop and plan to continue, coming away with more knowledge, passion and having had an amazing time with people I now consider friends. I have been on a few of Ollie's workshops (Iceland and Slovenia) as well as a one 2 one. His tution is superb as well as the amount of effort he puts into to make sure it is a success for everyone taking part and not only that he also explains a bit about post production.Posted on Facebook![]()

I went on my first trip with Ollie to the Dolomites, and it was a fantastic. He was committed to making sure that the group was at the right place at the right time and was monitoring the weather reports and location cams to make sure that happened for us. He had a great rapport with the group, and his enthusiasm for astrophotography was infectious. Highly recommend.
